ABOUT  THE COMPANY

SOUND HQ SOLUTIONS WAS BORN OUT OF FRUSTRATION :

This statement is bold, but in our industry, the truth and honesty in service delivery are sorely lacking and being dominated by the minority which in turn leads to exploitation.

Although they may say they offer service delivery, it is often at a price and then they do not live up to expectations. Sound HQ Solutions, also affectionately known as “SHQ”, was then formed to offer what is missing as well as speared to being one of the most formidable black-owned and run technical houses in South Africa.

Over the years our perseverance and acquisition of knowledge in our industry h afforded us associations with event companies, municipalities and individual clients which in turn has presented the opportunity to make a difference.

As we are a company that travels nationally servicing our clientele, but we still insist on imparting our knowledge and where we can ensure we uplift the local communities by offering temporary employment and with this for the duration they are with us, we ensure daily workshops and discussions to inspire and leave a hunger to pursue a career in the technical Entertainment industry. Not only does this offer the opportunity of education but also employment each time we go back to that community. Whilst we do not wish to profess that this is at the forefront of our business it still is an integral component that resonates with our CEO who started his life barefoot on the dusty streets in the Western Cape and fought his way through a Bantu Education with the hope of a brighter tomorrow.

As strong believers in the heritage of our country and the journey travelled and most important yet to travel. We feel it is our duty to impart knowledge to our youth and thus at regular intervals, we hold workshops at our premises so as to give insight into our industry and hopefully spark the desire in attaining further education and ultimately a recognized designation and certificate so as to further their future.

With this, we have joined hands with SACIA and the TPSA in guidance to further studies to those who desire it.
